Gerege Partners LLC is an independent, professional consultancy firm providing financial and business advisory, actuarial consulting and valuation services for a diverse range of clients and industries.

We work both with and for Economic Research Institute, Society of Actuaries of Mongolia, British Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and other public and international organizations as well as the private sector.

The company was established in 2009 by UK alumni with a vision to fill the gap in the professional services industry in Mongolia.

Gantulga is a partner of the Gerege Partners and the chairman of the board. He has specialist experience in actuarial consultancy, business valuations, lead advisory, management consulting and company management. He has led numerous professional projects and missions in the field of management consulting, due diligence, assets valuations and financial planning in the local market. Gantulga played a key role in the establishment and development of the actuarial profession in Mongolia and he holds a position of the President at the Society of Actuaries of Mongolia. Having worked for the Grant Thornton UK LLP and the Society of Actuaries of Mongolia, Gantulga possesses in-depth knowledge of the Actuarial Professional Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Financial Partner, Gantulga has led the Financial Services Consultancy and Valuation divisions and managed a number of consulting projects for state organizations and private entities in Mongolia, including the Financial Regulatory Commission of Mongolia and major insurance companies. Gantulga holds an MBA degree from the Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, UK. He held a position as a monetary policy committee member of the Central Bank of Mongolia for the period of 2014-16.

He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Manchester and held the positions of a lecturer/associate professor of economics at the University of Essex and Queen’s University Belfast in the UK between 2003 and 2014. Alongside teaching economics at various degree programs at those universities, he has been an active academic researcher. He has presented his research work at many conferences and published papers in international journals such as Oxford Economics Papers, the Journal of Economic Growth and Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. His main areas of research have been on economic growth, business cycles, stabilization policy and the demographic transition. Now he is specializing in CGE models of the Mongolian Economy. Recently he has worked as a monetary policy committee member of the Central Bank of Mongolia.

Shinee Volooj is specialized in industrial and operational management in the textiles and environmental sectors. She is responsible for the development of technical projects and oversees Technology and Innovation divisions. Shinee has professional experience in cashmere processing and manufacturing industry, product development, knowledge transfer projects and project management/ coordination. She consulted national textile producers on innovative technologies, environmentally friendly processes and cross sector collaborations.
Shinee holds a PhD and MPhil in textiles chemistry from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology and has worked as a research scientist at a number of multilateral projects. She has published papers in prominent international journals such as Surface and Interface Analysis, Journal of Textile Institute and Filtration.

Gunchinmaa Tumur has domestic and international experience in agricultural and institutional reforms, as well as practice and project management. She has led and participated in a wide range of assignments including agricultural policy, business development services, economic analysis and institutional reforms. Gunchinmaa has experience working in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, UK and Sri Lanka. She has worked both with national governments, commercial clients, multilateral and bilateral donors and international organizations. She currently plays a lead role in business development.
